Karmafix

Cibo / UX designer + concept collaborator / 2014

Helped conceptualize and design an app that made it easy to pay kindness forward and spread goodwill on the holidays (and the rest of the year).

Karmafix was an in-house app designed to be Cibo's 2014 Holiday Card last. As a creative team (UX and Visual Design) we got together and came up with the idea of creating an app to pay kindness forward and spread goodwill on the holidays (and the rest of the year). This was a passion project for us because we believed in the mission and it was a way to collaborate on a project that represented the culture and values of Cibo. This simple interface prompts the user with a daily act of kindness. Once complete they can hit the “Did It” button and track their progress. A user can see how many acts they’ve completed and how long of a daily streak they have going. You can also see the total number of of acts of kindness completed by all users of the app. A simple and engaging way to feel good on a daily basis and pay it forward. In addition to being part of the creative team that worked on the concept, I create the user flow to visualize how Karmafix would work.

Check out Karmafix in the app store.

Below is the basic flow through the four main screens on the app:

And here are a few more of the daily acts for good karma. There was one created for each day of the year. Download the app to see them all!
